Artist Statement
Ghost of Spider Palace has spent twenty years cultivating a multi-discipline artistic approach to his art, combining techniques from the arts and sciences. He aims to capture and manipulate light and sound, translating his keen observations of his world.
Ghost specializes in the fourth dimensional philosophy that ART IS PLAY. What passes through his eyes and ears to the medium is that reflection. He loves exploring human interaction with all ages of technology. Starting when he was only young enough to stand on the smoking sidewalk of Kirby's Beer Store listening to touring bands through the plastic sticker wall as a teenager, he then continued his education studying in Wichita, Lawrence, Pheonix, and the bouroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
